The Network

The network's purpose is to encourage communication and to build links between survivors of abuse who have a faith connection.

The network is:

1. A confidential networking list.
The primary goal of this network is to encourage survivors to be in touch with each other. Members take the initiative to contact each other for mutual support and sharing. The coordinator will provide regular mailings (every 2 or 3 months, or as significant numbers of new names are added to the network list). The mailings will include an updated network mailing list.

2. A non-circulating network list.
Those on this network list can access people on the networking list via the coordinator.

3. A way to exchange information, resources and ideas, for example,
Members of the network may express a willingness to:
  • Write letters, meet with (where possible), or share by phone with any members needing support at any time
  • Give information and or support for those pursuing criminal charges
  • Provide spiritual and or emotional information and support
  • Share resources helpful on your healing journey (books, music, support groups, lawyers, counselors, priests).
